  1. Ned & Kat,

What a beautiful photo expose. You guys are truly wonderful photographers and explorers.

Loved this Galapagos tour. Felt like I was right there!!! You made me (and I’m sure others) feel like we were right there next to you – enjoying the animals, unprotected, in their natural environment.

A note about reptiles and personalities. – They 100% due have different behaviors. My sister has a big iguana and they show signs of being tired and signs of affection. My cousin has 2 turtles who are shy – affectionate – hungry – cold and warm. Here’s a little more about reptiles and behaviors: http://www.hartz.com/Reptiles/Getting_Started/reptile_behavior_basics.aspx

Seeing these wonderful animals – many of who would be extinct if society hadn’t cordoned off this beautiful island – are just representative of animals worldwide. IMHO, ALL animals should be treated with kindness, respect and gentleness – as though they were going to be extinct. This is why I’ve been vegan for 20+ years. I see all animals as this unique and special.

Definitely enjoying your blog and observations. I’m sure you’re experiencing the journey of a lifetime.

  2. Up until reading your blog today, Columbia was my favorite of your experiences . . . now, I have added Galapagos to my bucket list. Thanks for letting me tag along on your adventures!

  3. The Galapagos is (are?) a very special place. I was there for two weeks in 1979, and it was just the most phenomenal experience. I am so glad that you decided to go.
